RHCC members joining with Ukrainians during the March for Peace & Prayer Vigil in Stamford, CT, March 22, 2022
On February 24, Russian forces invaded the sovereign and democratic nation of Ukraine. As a result of their deliberate, unprovoked, and genocidal attack on Ukraine, the world is seeing the worst humanitarian crisis of the 21st century. In an ongoing effort to be a force for good in the world, Round Hill Community Church is responding.
At the onset of the war, RHCC rapidly mobilized critically-needed funds to Save the Children (a Connecticut-based aid agency) and UNICEF, both of which are offering food, shelter, and medical support for the people of Ukraine. Additionally, loose plate Sunday offerings through Easter were dedicated to those two agencies. If you wish to contribute to these dedicated funds, please send a check to the Church indicating "Ukraine" in the notation line, or call the office to make a dedicated contribution with your credit card.
As the situation continues to evolve, we will explore other ways of supporting the people of Ukraine. Together, we can help ease the burdens of those grieving the loss of loved ones or who have been separated from friends and family and displaced from their homes. Our contributions in support of Ukrainians in desperate need of assistance represent a resounding YES to life and hope!
