Hope for Haiti

HOPE FOR HAITI is an organization working to reduce poverty in southern Haiti. Hope for Haiti provides support and partnership to the Haitian people every single day. Hope for Haiti runs an annual fundraiser called Hike for Haiti.

HIKE FOR HAITI. Children, parents, and grandparents in Haiti need our support. As Haiti faces extreme challenges, we believe that access to education, healthcare resources, and clean water will help forge a pathway to a better future for all Haitians.

On Saturday, 4/20 2024 we hosted Hike for Haiti at the church and were joined by an Olympian sprinter Steven Lorrius, a CT-based sprinter representing Haiti in the Olympics, who led the walk. Thank you to EVERYONE who joined the fun day!

What happens with the donations:

We have never stopped believing that there is always a path to a better life, despite the challenges. Your contributions directly enable our team to do the necessary work. Every day our Haitian staff is there to better their community by providing education, healthcare, clean water, and economic opportunity.

Hope for Haiti - Mobile Clinics.
“This initiative (mobile clinics) is crucial in our efforts to improve women’s health in Haiti and it was inspiring to see our team’s commitment to early detection and prevention.
— Skyler Badenoch, Hope for Haiti CEO.

THANK YOU NOTE AND VIDEO FROM 2023:

“Skyler is in Haiti and filmed you and the entire Round Hill community a personal thank you message - from the field!

The team was just at one of our partner schools, Ravine Sable, and wanted to show you all some of the impact you have helped us achieve. It's our partners like you that make this work possible.

We truly thank you for your belief in our organization and our mission. Looking forward to catching up with you in the new year!”

Can you imagine climbing 200 flights of stairs every day to get to school?

In the rural community of Marre à Coiffe, Haiti, students and families climb the equivalent of 200 flights of stairs from the bottom of the mountain to access clean water, healthcare, and education. Thank YOU for symbolically hiking Marre à Coiffe in solidarity while raising funds to support education, clean water, and public health initiatives across Hope for Haiti's 24 partner communities! Join the Round Hill Community Church in the Spring to help with this.
