Leticia Soltero
Leticia is originally from Texas but has lived in Connecticut for 16 years. She is passionate about working with kids and families while exploring fun and exciting ways to learn about God and God’s immense love for us. She believes an essential aspect of growth in one’s faith is having opportunities to serve locally and globally, practicing inclusion, and fostering intergenerational relationships, thus generating a strong sense of community.
Leticia has a lifetime of volunteer experience and has served as a Director of Christian Education within the United Church of Christ and Director of Christian Education with the United Methodist Church. Leticia is a Christian Life Coach that utilizes a holistic approach to health and wellness that focuses on physical, emotional, spiritual, and mental well-being. She believes this aspect of her life brings a fresh perspective to her position as the Director of Children’s Ministries at Round Hill Community Church. Leticia holds a Bachelor of Science in Religion, focusing on Christian Counseling from Rawlings School of Divinity. Additionally, she has a degree in design and certifications in personal training, nutrition, remote coaching, and Christian Life Coaching.
She enjoys reading, praying, weight training, hiking with her husband Jason, and spending time with her family and friends. They have two kids: Jason (1990-2014) and Ryann, who currently resides in the Boston area. Leticia’s favorite Bible verse is Matthew 6:33, “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
