Grada Fischer Herrick
Bill and I started coming to the church about 18 years ago. We moved to Greenwich from New York City. I am the CEO of The Fischer Ross Group, Inc., a Speaker's Bureau specializing in Women's Issues. We represent many notable speakers who share their philosophies on making the country, and the world, a better place. The non-denominational and open culture of our church fits into my vision for that, and we found a wonderful community of like-minded people here. I was the Co-Chair of the Women's Gathering for three years, and have been the Chair of the Membership Committee for 10 years. These positions have given me the unique opportunity to really get to know our congregation. My interests and passions are music, literature, art, meditation, travel, and spending time with family and friends. My three grandchildren are the joys of my life. I would describe myself as a people person who enjoys learning about different cultures and philosophies. As an immigrant child who came to this country from the Netherlands at the age of 6, I know how it feels to be different and speak another language. Being respectful and kind were virtues drummed into me by my family after they survived WWII in Europe. I love long walks on the beach.
