Making a Difference Together: About Jewish Family Services

Jewish Family Services of Greenwich responds to existing and emerging needs of individuals and families of all backgrounds, by providing accessible, expert social services to promote self-sufficiency and resilience, and to enhance quality of life in our surrounding community.

JFS serves all ages and stages in need of empathic care. Our six pillar programs – spanning a broad human service spectrum – allow us to help the community’s most vulnerable populations find safety, comfort, and a path toward a more fulfilling life.

Round Hill Community Church along with three other local organizations under the leadership of Jewish Family Services of Greenwich has co-sponsored the resettlement of a family of 32 Afghan evacuees in Fairfield County.

The donations and volunteer work of our congregation, along with our partners, has been essential and gratifying in finding homes, services, schools, training, jobs, and other needs for this extended family. One part of the family has settled in Glenville and others are in Old Greenwich and Stamford. Listen here to a an episode of our podcast for some background information on the involvement of RHCC.
